The Albany Police Activities League is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of community member, school district employees, and city recreation staff employees.  The Chief of Police serves as the Executive Director.  Funding comes from membership and program fees, donations, and small local grants.  The Albany Police Department also allocates funds.

Participants in all Albany Police Activities League programs pay a $15.00 yearly membership fee.  The program fee for wrestling, crocodile wrestling, and aikido is $10.00. The program fee for Kurukula is $25.00.  Registration forms may be downloaded on the "Contact Us" page.
