This class teaches a form of martial
arts known as Ki-Aikido or Aikido with Mind and Body Coordinated. This form of Aikido emphasizes the study of universal
principles of balance, harmony, and effective movement, and stresses safety, calmness, awareness, self-discipline and conflict
resolution. Aikido involves rolling, throwing, and pinning and can be quite dynamic or very gentle. The fundamentals
of safe movement are emphasized. All students are encouraged to grow at their own pace in a friendly and non-competitive atmosphere.
