The emphasis of this popular program, designed
for high school students, is on community service and developing leadership skills. Past activities have included coastal
cleanup, providing free movie nights for elementary school students, food drives, representing the Albany Police Activities
League at civic functions, and bringing holiday cheer to residents in a Senior Citizen facility. Each year
the members design and implement their own activities.
The Youth Leadership Council is a recognized AHS club and holds
meeting as needed during the lunch period.
